The Royal Automobile Club of Jordan has confirmed that the CPD is recommended, but not required, to cover the temporary importation of private and commercial road vehicles. Motorcycles are admitted under cover of a CPD for a maximum of two weeks. Every vehicle must pay an entry fee. For motorists who are not carrying an "orange card" (insurance cover), short-term insurance may be purchased. If a CPD is used to enter Jordan, the holder must ensure that the document is correctly discharged when the vehicle leaves the country.
